Our Stake does a Father-Son camp out every year- I love it because I think it's a GREAT bonding time for Andrew and Malachi--- On the Plus side, I don't like to go camping, I also get to do stuff just with Mallory and get the bed to myself for a night...Win- Win
Apparently I sent them with a dead camera so there are no actual camping pictures- but here is our "Bye Mom" picture...
He was SUPER excited, he kept asking about random things...like apparently last year I sent Strawberries- oops, no strawberries this year...
Here is there picture from last year- I thought it would be cute to take a Father-Son camp out picture every year- just because it's cute!
However next year I will have to tell Malachi to wear a different outfit- apparently the "Ninjaa turtle shirt and cargo shorts" are his camping outfit- Andrews even wearing the same hat.....

Our Mallory Girl
Our Super cute Mallory girl had her last Ballet class this week....we decided to walk since it was a nice day (Well and Gas is $4.20 per gallon)
This is my favorite part- she pushes up turns around and says "HI Toes" She always has a huge smile on his faceThis is her Teacher "Miss Olivia" and Mallory is always her shadow
This has nothing to do with Ballet....but we went to the Vet yesterday and she was holding Lily's cone and put it on her head- thought it was super cute!

Friends, Puppies, Surgery and Chicks
When we first started reading about Andrew they told us that he was shy and didn't interact with other kids.... as he has grown one of the funnest thing to watch is that he has developed 3-4 Best friends!
This is his "Best Friend" Devon, he is really a sweet kid and I am glad we finally got a play date together....it was kinda awkward because the play date with his Dad that I had never met, and his dad is def, but it wasn't as bad as I thought....I think I need to brush up on my American Sign language before out next play date!
We were just hanging around one morning and Mallory was just giggling at herself in the mirror!
This is our snap shot on "Happy Mothers Day" before we went to church! We kept a pretty casual Mothers day this year, Malachi bought me an Adoption book I really wanted, The kids sang in church, we just hung out together, Sound good, I am so happy to be a mom!
You can't really see (because shes black) but Lily wanted to be really cozy with Bruce- Super cute! I really like our puppies- Lily got spayed this week so she is walking around looking pathetic in her cone!
Malachi had a procedure on Monday- it was something we were kinda worried about but everything went smoothly, so far so good....we are still waiting for biopsy to come back but he is feeling much better!Granny and Grandpa got Chicks so we had to run over and see them- they have 3 "purple" ones, 3 yellow, 3 red....
So the Chappell's came up with 3 names "Grape", "Buttercup" and "Rose"
We came up with 3 names "Indigo", "Banana" and "Clifford"
3 chicks left NEEDING to be names- Haney's What do you think?

Afternoon walk puts a smile on my face...
It was Super Sunny this afternoon so Andrew and I decided to take a walk with Bruce! We were walking along talking about the signs, flowers, mail boxes (you know important stuff!)...Then Andrew sees a bumble bee...
Andrew: "Bees like to eat flowers, they take the Nectar and they like to make Honey!" They fly from flower to flower to make A lot of honey" (they are learning about bugs at school)
Me "Yep, and they have little hairs on their arms that pollen sticks to...then when they go from flower to flower they pollinate the flowers to make more flowers grow!"
Andrew: " Yep then they like to make lots of Honey"
Me: "Do you know what honey is?"
Andrew: "No"
Me " Remind me when we get home and I will let you taste a little"
Andrew: "EWWW NO YUCK"
Me: No it's not yucky, it's yummy- honeys make honey so we can eat it, just like Cows make milk so we can drink it."
Andrew: "Cows make milk and cows make hamburgers..."
Me " Ummm....yep your right!"
You have to admit he does have a point!

Hanging out
I think we are watching a movie in this picture....
Here is Andrew just waiting for this turn to Bat!
Spring Fair and Pinewood Derby
So we went to the Spring Fair, Malachi got off work Early and we went, it RAINED, but we had fun anyway
Part of my Primary calling is so be over Cub scouts, so last weekend we had our big Pinewood Derby....we just bought a new fancy track with a computer that automaticaly times the cars and ranks them
We had a great turn out- but unfortualtly I was in charge of food and we ran out because there were so many people- These kids drank 10 GALLONS of lemonade!
All the Cubs made cars and we also opened it up to the wards to make cars if they wanted- we had some really fun ones!
Here are Andrew and Mallory watching the races!
More Ballet
So here they are
Isn't she graceful?
She is getting SO great at it.....Stay tuned for more pictures~

T-ball
Andrew had his first 2 T-ball games on Saturday (if you want the game days E-mail me and I will send you the list) It was GREAT- the Sunshine was out, the grass was green, and he had so much fun...
He is really good at hitting the ball and a good thrower- it's that darn catching we need to work on
He wasn't exactly sure where to run and where to throw the ball, but he did pretty good for this first time.
