Apartment!

This is the apartment downstairs- ALL of downstairs has beautiful tile on the floor and half way up the wall. The plan it to rent it out as partially furnished, but for now we don't use it and I know it looks really bland! There are no interior doors yet, we are still working on it. But there is a nice bathroom (nicer than ours) and a large walk in closet (we put a dresser in there) More pictures of the living area to come...

Going Down...

Stairs! Our downstairs is a daylight basement that is converted into an appartment, however first is our laundry room. I know it is not very exciting, but this is a full tour and I could not leave it out!

Deck

Off of our Master bedroom there is a small deck, this is Dawn's favorite part of the house! It has a Hot tub (not working yet) and my couches from when I was in college- now they are lawn furniture ( I still LOVE them) It is enclosed and you can only get there from the bedroom which is nice! Here is a little taste of the back yard (taken from the deck, More picture of the backyard to come)

Master Bedroom

So this is our "Master Bedroom" its a little small, but it works. The owner before us threw out the closet doors so Momma and I made curtains, I bought teal fabric for the canopy bed- but I haven’t decided exactly what I want to do yet. In the second picture you can see we have a sliding glass door going out onto a deck--pictures to come! In the first picture you can kinda see the pocket door all the way on the right that is our bathroom. Smallest bathroom ever created!

Baby's Room

NO we do not have a baby; however since I got married I started slowly gathering baby things that were on clearance or at garage sales. I like to plan ahead and I thought I would get a head start on our nursery, but having a baby took A LOT longer than I thought- so before I knew it we have a baby's room!
We decided to decorate in a Barnyard/ cowboy theme- Malachi build and painted the barn door! Cute huh?

Spare bedroom!

Our space bedroom, commonly referred to as the "Purple room"- Although it is the only room that is still NOT painted, it will eventually be purple. Right now it holds our computer, fabric and other craft things!

I love it- however the toilet and shower are PINK! Who the heck would pick a pink shower and toilet?

This is our living room!!! The next picture is the other side that has stairs going up and downstairs (Pictures of both to come) it is kinda set up like a split-level BUT it has 3 levels and the stairs don't hit you when you walk in!

Kitchen

This is our Kitchen~ the door comes in from the Carport (Hopefully will be a garage someday) we painted it Cherry-Rusty Red. the Fabric that is on the cubord door (You can't see it, but it is REALLY cute squares) will soon be curtains for all the windows. the space above the sink was a wine rack- we busted it our but havent converted it yet. So there is a kitchen with a bar- and breakfast nook area (dinning room) behind the china hutch there is a sliding glass door- we want to bust it out and make a wall, however until we get around to that there is a blanket hanging over it!
Lastly our Calender (that Emma made for Us) WE LOVE IT!!
More to come....

House Tour~

A Virtual tour of our new-ish house so that Emma (and anyone else) can see what everything looks like. It was in BAD shape when we bought it in May, but the House and yard has lots of potential. We have been working on it (in-between work) and trying to fix it up. There is still LOTS of work to do, and much of it is a work in progress, but I wanted to take pictures of each room and explain so that Emma (and everyone else) can have an opportunity to see! I will Probably do a room (or so) each day until we are done!

Family Vacation!

We got to go on a Road Trip! Granny, Grandpa, Manda, Jerm, Audry, Clara Buggie and Auntie Wade (Malachi had to work)! It was 6-7 LONG hours in the car- but don't worry, we brought snacks!

We met Sydney in La Grande! (Emma and Scott were there too!)

We all got to go swimmin' in the Hotel- we have some great swimmers in our family!

The next day we went to the reunion site- the funniest part was feeding the "reindeer", they apparently LOVE popcorn!

My favorite part of the whole trip was spending time with all my nieces, they are so fechin' cute!

A modern world!

So we got internet... we are so modern. I thought when we moved into our house we would get internet right away, but guess what?? Houses are expensive and we waited until we got on our feet to sign up, so there was a large gap between blog postings, but here we are with internet and now I can update my blog all the time, I am so excited! And I get to look at everyone elses! Next step digital camera, then Maybe we can get some pictures of our house...??? Hopefully more to come in a short while!
