Andrew's 6th Baseball Party!

Andrew's Birthday was Tuesday but we had his party on Saturday!
Thank you so much to everyone that came, it really meant a lot to Andrew (and me) that so many people love him!
I think everything turned out pretty well- although I officially am checking off cake decorator from my list of possible careers- but the cupcakes were yummy anyway!
The Center pieces turned out great- but it was a little too windy for Balloons
Lots of food- I think this is the last picnic we will get in this summer!
After we ate everyone went over to the baseball diamond and played a little recreational game of baseball- they must have all had a REALLY good time playing because they were all so busy no body took pictures!
After Baseball we did a Pinata- This was lots of fun- all the kids got a chance to whack the ball....
And the "watcher kept inching closer and closer...and we would have to back them up so they didn't get hit
But after we went though all the kids the stupid thing still wouldn't break ( I love this picture Anika is completely in mid-air)

When it finally broke Everyone was SO excited and jumped for all the candy
Then we all had a piece and got ready to watch Andrew open his presents
Oh but we had to sing Happy Birthday First- even though we had already eaten our cupcakes
Then we opened presents- Andrew got LOTS of really cool stuff, but it was a lot to take it with all the people and the excitement...
But this morning was when he really got to enjoy all of his gifts. We went though the basket one by one and would open it/put batteries in it and see how cool it was and talk about who gave it to him!
I had been praying for good weather for Andrew's party since it was outside, but now that it's all over Fall can come- so I put my Fall wreath on the door!

Two quick things...

Really quick I wanted to show you the great deal I got on Apple Juice!
Only $1 each for 100% apple juice- so we bought all they had!
The other day Malachi was giving Mallory a bath and when I came in to wash her hair this was on the tub- I thought it was super cute!

Happy Birthday Andrew

Yesterday was Andrew's Brithday! Since we are having a HUGE Birthday party this weekend we kept it kind of simple on his actual day!

In the morning we had ORANGE sprinkle pancakes and he got ONE present (he LOVES his baseball mitt chair) and went out to the mailbox to get his birthday card from the Haney's with $1 in it- Lucky duck!
He brought treats to school and they sang him Happy Birthday. I decorated his lunch box and filled it with confetti  Andrew got LOTS of calls and Happy birthday wishes...I think it was a pretty fun day for him, but he is really excited about his BASEBALL PARTY, we are counting down the days!

Our Andrew boy!

Our Andrew boy is almost 6!
Andrew has a birthday coming up at the end of the month. We are having a "Baseball party" and anyone who would like to come is completely invited, I just wasent sure who would be around and would want to come....So if you would like to come send me an E-mail, we would LOVE to have you come. We are going to play a Baseball, do a Pinata, and lots of food, treats and cupcakes!
So  I thought I would provide a small list of Andrew's interests to provide some guidance if you would like to get him a gift.

Our Andrew loves "Cars", "Toy Story", and Spider man/Batman/Wolverine. He is wearing 6T-7T clothes and size 13 shoes. His room is decorated in SPORTS... mostly baseball! He loves Baseball! He has a Twin bed. He just started Kindergarten and his favorite color is Orange!

A little bit more summer!

It's September but we keep having good weather...so last weekend we went to NW trek (I left my camera at home) Then Monday Malachi had one day left of Vacation so we used it up and went to the Fair!
Did the normal fair stuff- milked a cow (my pictures are all out of order...)
went on rides....Mallory picked this car ride and she rode with this cute little boy we met in line. I'm not sure how I feel about her riding in cars with boys!
Mallory and Daddy went swinging together
Andrew wanted to go down the Giant slide!
And (of course) the Foot vibrating things- for a Quarter we could afford this "RIDE"
 And got our faces painted!!
The kids LOVED all the Characters that were walking around
 Ate LOTS of yummy food!
Just posing on a fake bumper car
The favorite was the roller coaster- the ride guy let them go for like 5 minutes.
some of the younger kids got done, but Andrew and Mallory were excited the whole time
Playing music on pots and pans
We always love watching the cows getting milked and getting some free Chocolate milk from the Daffodil princesses!
The Rain forest exhibit was really cool to look at, Malachi even got to hold a scorpion
The outside was really cool too...we ran across the bridge, jumped across the Lilly pads and ran away from this snake.
We hit the petting zoo EARLY so the poor animals were not attacked by kids yet
We always love seeing the draft horses- the are SO BIG BUMS!!
And the birds were cool too...chickens, ducks, turkeys, doves and pigeons
We had a great time at the fair...but were super tired when we got home!
Tuesday night Malachi and I went on a double date with our friends who just moved back from Alaska...we went to BJ's (SUPER YUMMY) and it was GREAT to hang out with some adult friends and spend some time together!
