Tacoma Children's Museum

Last week we had a Field trip for 'Mommy school" we went to the Tacoma Children's Museum.... They just moved to a new location and it is MUCH better than the old one- it was really fun and had lots of interactive things for the kids to do....

We had 7 kids in our group and the way it was set up it wasn't hard to keep track of all the kids with 2 adults....it took us about an hour to go through and was a great way to spend a morning!

The Water fountain was my favorite part- way fun and lots of things to play with and they had smocks to keep the kids dry-mostly!

And it's now a "Pay as you will" program.....so you pay what you can afford!

After the Museum we had a picnic in the back of the van- because it was Super windy!

Well Child Check-up!

Last week (since we didn't have school) we had our annual well child Check up....So they checked stuff like, weight,sight, hearing.....Unfortunately it was also time for Shots.... Mallory got the worst of it! She got 3 shots, got her Iron checked (finger pricked) and had to give blood too....And they both had to pee in a cup- it was a rough doctors appointment!

So RIGHT after we RAN to go get Ice cream, Ice cream makes everything better- we had a coupon from Mallory's birthday for Cold stone!

Going to the doctor sucks...but the good news is everyone is Healthy and Growing GREAT!

All About Andrew!

I was looking at my blog a few days ago and realized that it's a little Mallory heavy- so here is an update on our boy, Andrew!!

We Just Signed him up for Baseball (he is REALLY excited) and we are selling Raffle tickets ($1 each) to support his baseball league! 1st Prize is $1,000.00 2nd- $750.00 3rd-$500 4th- $250....let us know if you would like to purchase one!

And we got his size 6T clothes out.....he is growing like crazy!

He is a great helper around the house and has been becoming more and more self-reliant! At Preschool they just started talking about going into kindergarten next year and he is WAY excited to be in Kindergarten!

Prima Ballerina...

Mallory is in Ballet again....and this year she is REALLY excited about it.... Last year she mostly just watched the teacher and the other girls and SOMETIMES would do some of the stuff- this year she is following ALL the instructions and is starting to look like a real ballerina!

And we have a friend from church in our class too- which makes everything extra fun!

I really like her teacher- she is really high energy and keeps it one their level....Audrey and Clara have the same teacher (in an older class) and she really steps it up for the older girls....I hope we can take some more classes with her!

You've had a Birthday, Shout Hooray!

Mallory has been celebrating all week..... On Friday we brought Cup-cakes to her class at school! Then Sunday we had Cake, Ice cream and Presents at Granny and Grandpa's house! She got "BIG" money from Grandpa and dress up stuff! A singing toothbrush, and lots of jewelry made her 4 year old world perfectly enchanted!

Lots of fun presents and got to be the princess of the party!

Then on Tuesday we woke up and had Pink sprinkle Pancakes, painted her nails, and watched some special birthday movies!

Then I took Mallory out on a Special Mommy-Mallory Lunch Birthday date! We went to Wendy's and had chicken nuggets and french fries...then we went to BJ's and had a Pazookie for dessert!

And we went to the Bank and she filled out her OWN deposit slip to put her birthday money into her account- she was SO excited!

Then Tuesday night we went to the Swifts and had Cake and Ice cream!!
And guess what else???

More presents- she is such a Spoiled lucky duck! More dress up stuff (which she LOVES) and some coloring stuff!

Mallory is 4!

Happy V-day!

We didn't do much for V-day this year....since we just bought a puppy we decided that was our gift to each other....so the kids did Valentines for their friends at school! Aunt Talitha and Grandpa each brought us cookies! Happy Valentine's day!

Puppy Photo Shoot!

So we got a new Puppy last weekend! We have been thinking about getting another dog for awhile, and had talked about what we wanted, but were not really shopping yet! But we went to a local pet store this weekend and she was everything we wanted!

This is NOT a good picture...It's really hard to get a good picture of a black ball of fur- so you will just have to come over and visit her!

She is a Yorkie-miniature Poodle mix, and is Hypo-alergenic and SUPER cute!

Bruce doesn't care for her too much, but he will get over that.....She is really calm and cuddly, we all love her!

Not much going on around here...

I know I haven't updated in a long time...well that's because we don't have much going on around here...it's pretty normal everyday stuff...It seems like we are not doing anything, yet we are always busy...

We've been watching lots of movies, playing games, playing outside (when it's not raining)and going to school!

The highlight of our weeks are Bubble bath day!

On days that they don't have pre-school I have been trying to print out worksheets for them to work on....well and I do a "mommy school" for Andrew on Wednesdays!

We spend lots of time in our playroom, just doing puzzles, coloring pictures, and playing with other kids!

Andrew and I had to wait at the tire store for over an hour to get our wheel fixed!

Nothing to report- we are all Happy, Healthy and busy, just living the life!

Snow days

A few weeks ago we had a TON of snow in Washington! We were bascialy snowed in for a week strait! We were one of the lucky ones that had power, so we played in the snow and drank lots of hot chocolate!

We made Snowmen, snow angels, Snow dogs, and Malachi and Andrew made a snow fort with our slide!

We got this Boat on craigslist and I was thinking it would be perfect for summer...little did I know it's also great in Snow!

And we went for a walk in the snow...it was kind of nice to have snow, but I was happy to see it go!
