So for the past month or so we have been preparing our house for our foster care inspection, this includes thing like locking up medication, waterproof matress covers, and other state regulaltions! We had been working on cleaning getting out all of our children things! We really wanted to show them that we are a safe, loving home!Like most homeowners we had a few "someday" prodjects... However we didn't have the skills to do them right now....But once we scheduled the home inspection we felt TONS of presure to get them done now! So we called in all of our favors to help us get it done!
In ONE weekend it looks 452.8% Different! I LOVE it! This was a sliding glass door that lead out onto out hot tub deck.. "We" Built a wall and put in a door! Doesn't it look good? We got rid of our hot tub (We didn't use it) and now this is a pleasent outside oasis....and we have more wall space in our bedroom!
Last year "we" made our carport into a garage...however Malachi never got around to siding it...so "we" did that this weekend, it make the front of our house look SO much less junky! "We" also presure washed the driveway did LOTS of gardening, and lots of cleaning!Who needs the DIY show "Curb apeal"...I got your curb apeal right here!
Our flat roof has always bugged us because it makes our house look like a trailer....we came up with this low-cost idea a few months ago and Jeremy came over and worked quickly to get the front of it done for our homestudy! I LOVE it! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!In one short weekend "We" made tons of GREAT improvements to our house! I cannot even belive it is the same house...There was lots of scrubbing,cleaning, spackling, painting, redecorating, and moving- Not so much sleeping. So our house is CLEAN! We did deep cleaning on just about every room DECLUTERED! I got rid of lots of stuff at my garage sale last month, and got rid of a few thing this weekend. READY FOR A BABY! our nursery no longer serves as s storage room, and there is baby stuff ALL over our house- we are ready!

We had our home inspection and it went pretty well...in about 90 days (or less) we should be avalible for placement! I will keep you updated!
You all are invited to come over and see our house! It was so fun to get so much stuff done, I really like our house now...it doesn't look so trashy!

Awesome! One day I am going to be just like you and get all of my projects around the house done. I wish we had some handy people around this house.
