Life's a Beach!

Monday Malachi had the day off work, and it was beautiful outside (again) so we went off to the beach with my friend (from work) and two little girls I forgot my camera in the car, so we have no pictures (shoot) So I stole these off the internet! It was really fun!

Update: So we are still waiting for a birth mom to contact us, however last night we started our foster care classes, we will be going to those every night for the next week or so. We want to adopt a baby, however we want to have all oportunites open to us as we build our family!

Sunday night dinner!

On Sunday we had BEAUTIFUL weather....so after church Malachi and I took Bruce on a walk! Then we went to the Swifts for Sunday night dinner!
It was SO fun to have Rebecca and her kids there, they live really far away and we never get to see them...in fact we had never met Christian- Isn't he cute?

There was of course lots of visiting and catching up- and holding kids (my favorite part)
While all the adults were playing a game Malachi was (of course) rolling on the ground with the kids! Don't you just love him? I know its mushy, but its moments (or pictures) like this that make me know he is going to be a great Dad!

Not ALL of the family was there, we were missing a few of the original siblings...however all the grandchildren were there- so we got a few pictures in!

They are so cute!

AH, and the Cake, deffinatly worth the wait! Chocolate eclair, gooey, strawberry, yummy cake!

Enrichment

So I am the Enrichment leader (Relief Society- Church) and I plan an activity every month. This month we did somthing really fun. We went to a sisters house in the ward and her husband made Kabobs-really yummy....and we swam in her hot/pool
It's so nice to sit around and chat with all the sisters in the ward, and we could not have asked for better weather- the saturday we did it, it was like 85 outside!

Two Cute red heads!

Last Friday I got to watch Penelope and Tucker all day! They are so CUTE! Tucker and I just played and played! We colored and went for a walk...

and when Uncle Malachi got home they ROCKED OUT!

Penelope did really well, she was a little clingy...but I don't mind, I like holding cute babies!

Banisters and Buds

We checked off another prodject off of our list! On Monday, Malachi built this Banister...as you can see my part is not quite done yet, I still have some staining to do! But it looks good right? And I love it because it makes our stairs much safer...now we can attach a baby gate from the banister to the wall, before there was like a 3 foot gap, Thanks Malachi!
This is Maggie, she is our house guest for the next week or so! She is a Shiatsu and her are Brucie are Buddies! I am watching her for a co-worker! It's Kinda fun for Bruce to have a playmate! Update: No real update on the Adoption front. We've had a few leads, but nothing concrete. We are still waiting and praying, please keep us in your thoughts, we will keep you updated!

Choo Choo Train!

I got to watch the Cutest little boy last week! It was SO much fun!
I was so glad to see how well Bruce played with him! Brucie is such a good doggie! I know he will be so good when we have kids!
And we did erands and went to the Park! Who doesn't love the Park?

We ate snacks, it was so much fun, it's kinda rare that I babysit just ONE kid...it kinda gave me a feel of how it might be in the begining when we start our family! I am so excited, I cannot wait to be a mom!

Oh by the way He LOVES LOVES trains (hence the title) everything that we saw was a "Choo Choo train!"
