After the Museum we went to Nathanael's and Mary-Ann's house and played in the pool!
Andrew and Mallory had TOO much fun and loved playing with Jackson- although it made us miss Bruce
We got to play with Baby Jacob too- oh man, he is growing too fast!
Jacob was really fun! Then Uncle Nathanael got home from work and brought a "surprise guest" Uncle Isaac all the way from Washington (he flew on an airplane) and we had a little BBQ
It was great to sit around and chat with everyone- Thanks for letting us stay at your house- it was perfect!
The next morning on our way out we went up to Logan and hit all the factory's up there, Cookie, Cheese, eggs, Ice cream and Candy- Basically filled up our car and headed across Idaho to Oregon...
We stayed in La Grand for a night at a hotel- swam in the pool then ate breakfast in the morning and hit the road!
Our road trip was OVER 2,400 miles and we were in the car A LOT....but the kids did really well and we took lots of breaks! Between Movies, Harry Potter on CD, snacks, Granny's search and find game and naps it really didn't seem like that long at ALL.
About a block away from our house we went though a Automatic car wash- which apparently was the HIGHLIGHT of the trip- kind of a grand finale!!!
It was SO much fun! Thank you to everyone who fed us, lodged us, and helped us- we had a blast! But I am so glad to be home in my own bed, hot water, food ( NOT eating out) and hopefully we can get back into a normal routine......
DEEP BREATH because school starts tomorrow!
